About Mapswell...

Hi Everyone! Jes, Max, Mini, Nora, and Zoie Here. We live in the north part of the United States in a wonderful place called Minnesota. The winters are long and cold; the summers are warm and short. We get the best of each of the four seasons.

We met 10 years ago when we were in school, and now we are both teachers working with adult learners in college and university. We like to spend time outdoors as much as possible, preferably hiking, camping, canoeing, listening to concerts, gardening, and exploring our wonderful city.

And then 8 years ago, our lives got even better: we found our two lovely kitties. Nora and Mini were strays and we found them at the local animal shelter, cuddling in their litter box. We fell in love with their independent spirits and togetherness. Nora is an orange cat who likes to snuggle and steal your snacks. She knows how to cheer you up when you're having a bad day and she always wants cuddle no matter how inappropriate the situation. Mini is a tiny-little snow-white cat with orange tips on her ears and nose. She is the bossy, curious one, and she will definitely let you know when it's dinner time. They are both wonderful animals and our lives are much better thanks to them.

Then, two years ago, we found our little dog Zoie. We adopted Zoie when she was 4 years old and now she's 6. She is a lovable, goofy, hard working Australian Shepherd. She's only 18 pounds, so she's a little dog with a big heart :) She likes to play fetch and cuddle Jes.

The thread that binds all 5 of us together (and even binds us together with you, PostCrossing friend), is that we are positive, happy people. We believe in love and peace, and we send as much positivity out into the world as possible.

Whatever cards you send us are great. We don't have too much of a preference. We want to get to you know the world better, so if you send us something that tells us a little bit about you, where you live, what your pets or kids are like, what your favorite quote or book or song is, what makes you happy, and who inspires you. That's the kind of message we'd like to get from our PostCrossing friend.

With Peace and Love,

Max and Jes

* Did you receive a card from us with a Total Solar Eclipse stamp? Make sure you press your finger on it to see what happenswhen it gets warm!

Did you receive a stamp with "frozen treats"? If you did, make sure you sniff the stamp because it is a rub-and-sniff stamp! They have made it smell like SUMMER! *
