Hello post crossing friends!

We are two happy people named Jes and Max.

We are interested in direct swaps. We like to trade unwritten cards in an envelope (3,5, more), to help grow our collection. Thanks for considering!

Life update for 2023:

Jes has now started school to become a Nurse! Are you a nurse or another medical profession? Do you have advice for Jes or encouragement for her as she goes through the challenges of nursing school and the early days of her profession? Thanks!

Max is teaching writing to college students at the local community college. Are you a writer? Do you have advice for young writers starting their college careers? What kind of writing do you do in your professional life? Please share! Thank you!

Our letter carrier lives only a few houses down the road from us. She LOVES to see all the mail arriving. Feel free to write "Hello Lettercarrier!" if you want to say hi.

We are so happy to be a part of this loving community. We have experienced so much generosity and creativity from our Postcrossing friends, and we are inspired to send our own gifts out into the world. Postcrossing has shown us that people are more alike than different. And we need more experiences in this world that bring us together rather than push us apart.

Our only request is that you share with us something that brings you joy. Beyond that, we will be happy to receive your postcard, no matter what it contains.

Our other interests:

* Nature and the changing of the seasons. What do you see when you look outside your window? what trees, plants, and animals do you see? How have you noticed the climate changing in your area?

* Book Stores! Does your local book store have postcards? We'd love to add one to our collection. On our travels, we try and visit small, local, independent bookstores. Help us to learn more! If you'd like some recommendations for this type of shop in the Minneapolis area, let us know and we'll help you out!

* Typical tourist cards: Please share with us the well-known or unknown attractions near you or that you've discovered on your travels. If we were coming to visit you, where would you have us visit?

* Political dissent, revolution, insurrection, fighting the status quo, antifa, women's rights, LGBTQ+, social movements, BLM, the landless peasants, punk rock, anarchy, etc.

* Baseball: We are supporters of our beloved Minnesota Twins and we would love to know more about how baseball is played in your area. Anything baseball related is welcome. If you would like to swap baseball cards, let us know who your favorite players are, and we will check our collection to see if we have any to send you.

* Ad Cards - We love to learn what's happening in your area. Concerts, shops, shows, causes, campaigns, politics, anything that help us see what's happening around you

* History, music, culture, etc. Anything that helps us know you better :)
