Hello,

I've always wanted to travel so this seems like a wonderful way to see the world! I also love writing letters but its hard to find people who want to exchange letters when its so much faster to call or email. I found out about this through a homeschooling magazine. I'm a stay at home mom to my wonderful daughter, who I'm planning on homeschooling. I think this will also be great fun for my daughter as she gets older!

Other things about myself, my husband and I enjoy going to renaissance faires, that's actually how we met! My 2.5 year old daughter is my life and most my scrapbooking, photography, knitting, sewing and other crafts revolve around her :) I'm an avid reader of fantasy as well as mystery. I'm new to the country life but love it am an interested in gardening, canning, raising chicken all those homesteading things :)

Postcard preferences :

Please send your cards written and in an envelope if it doesn't cost you anymore. I've gotten quite a few mangled cards :(

I'll enjoy any postcards I get! However I'm most interested in....

- James William Watercraft painting postcards

- Fairies!!! (My received Fairy cards are here... http://www.flickr.com/photos/64532451@N03/)If you have a folded fairy card you want to send instead of a postcard that's fine by me :)

- Ireland (Irish castles, countryside, cottages, people, knotwork, pubs etc.) - even if your not from Ireland :)

- Castles (again, even if they are not from your area, and you just share my love of castles!)

- animals, especially cats(big + small), guinea pigs, frogs, owls, penguins (for my daughter) but really any type :)

- Doctor Who

- Fantasy (dragons, elves, wizards, etc.)

- people in traditional dress

- Mothers and babies or children

- Children or babies (especially girls, my daughter loves seeing other girls)

- rustic cottages, stone walls

- Touristy cards from your hometown/city (especially people, landscapes and countryside) or places you love and like to visit like renaissance faires, etc.

- Maps

- recipe cards

I don't really like multiview cards or city cards. If that's all you have its fine, but not my preference.

please include a little note! You could tell me about your country, your customs or just what you did today! I love to hear about different cultures, traditions, customs and stories :) Tell me about your childhood, your children, something silly your child said Or even just write down your favorite recipe for a traditional dish!

And if I can go crazy I would truly love to get small coins (the smallest denomination coins available would be wonderful, obviously this would mean sending a card or at least putting the postcard in an envelope) to make a world coin collection for my daughter!
