Hello, My name is Luane and I live in Menlo Park, CA. Menlo Park is a suburban town in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a California native, I was born in San Diego (lived near the ocean), moved to Northern California for college and have stayed here ever since. One of the most wonderful things about living in our locale is that we have access to Nature within minutes. My husband and I love hiking on the many trails in the redwoods and rolling California hills. We have two grown children and have had every pet imaginable. I developed and directed an exploration based parent-participation preschool. As part of the program we had weekly field trips to cultural, community or natural locations. I have since retired (after 15 years) and now love to create mixed media art and collages, and dabble with making jewelry. I love to read and am in a book discussion club.
