I live in the eastern Sierra of California, at 7,000 ft. It snows here in the winter. I do do outdoor activities: hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, but I am mostly interested in art. I like to make art (I am a printmaker) and I like looking at art (which mostly means I have to drive 6 hours to LA or SF), it's VERY rural where I live.
I teach studio art and art history at a local college and I also work as a librarian.
I am a cat person, I have a 25-year-old daughter, but I live alone now. I am widowed.
I am taking an online Latin course, which is pretty interesting. I love languages.
Recent books I have enjoyed: Hagseed by Margaret Atwood, M Train by Patti Smith, and For the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki.
