Je parle un petit peu de français.
Mi estas komencanto en Esperanto.

I'm based in South Milford, northern England. I'm a proud English graduate, geek-nerd hybrid, wannabe Renaissance woman, big word user and culture vulture.

I adore owls, especially barn owls, and Shiba Inus. They are so beautiful!

Hobbies and interests include bande dessinée (European comics, like Tintin, Moomin, Spirou & Fantasio and Gil Jourdan), Victoriana and Steampunk, The Sims, gothic art, literature, science, writing, comedy, geek culture, history (especially European royalty) and musical theatre.

My favourite authors include the Brothers Grimm, Sir Terry Pratchett, Dante Alighieri, Oscar Wilde and William Shakespeare. Favourite artists include Hergé, Maurice Tillieux, Andre Franquin, Antonio Prohias, Edward Gorey, Charles Addams, Kate Beaton, Paul Kidby, Charles M. Schultz, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci.
