I've lived in Seattle all of my life. The funny thing about Seattle is that it's not really very close to any other large cities. We have Vancouver, BC, a couple hours drive to the north in Canada and Portland, Oregon a couple of hours drive to the south. Both of these are nice cities, but all three of them have an eerie similarity.

I live with my husband, two kids, two cats, four urban chickens, and a fish tank. It used to be four fish tanks, but then we seemed to come to our senses a little. We are expecting a collie puppy in mid- to -late June.

With two working parents, weekends get pretty busy keeping all of it together! In my free time (which I calculate at roughly an hour and fifteen minutes per night), I've been working on a novel which will never see the light of day. However, I'm proud to have written over 380,000 words so far. (If you like to write, try googling "NaNoWriMo".) On "date nights" (Fridays and Saturdays in our basement) my husband and I watch movies or play video games together. Right now we are watching Downton Abbey. We sadly have no new video games on the horizon right now. The good ones tend to come out more at Christmas time.

As for cards I would like: I'm interested in cityscapes, regional landmarks, and architectural details. I also like animals, esp. birds and sea creatures. Cards made from your own photographs are very welcome, especially if they show a part of your town/region that I couldn't see otherwise and that is special to you.
