I live in Wyoming USA, a couple hours drive from Yellowstone National Park. I travel within the US mostly by road. Most often to visit friends and family in Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, California and Texas.
We live on a 50 acre hobby farm with Great Pyrenees, Miniature Australian Shepherds, Manx cats, LaMancha Goats, Cochin Chickens, Sebastopol Geese, Herford cross pigs, Miniature Donkies, and Gypsy Vanner Horses. We have a handful of each, with the exception of one Holstein bull calf. Its like owning our own Petting Zoo.
We enjoy the summer outdoors, with camping, fishing, off-roading . You can find us searching out the best trails that are close to water just so we can cool off on those hot days. We also have a coupe horses that pull carts so we do as much pleasure driving as possible.
In the fall my Husband and I host a car show in partnership with our towns Homesteader Days Celebration. I have a 1955 Mercury Monterey that my father rebuilt and we try to take it to shows every month from April to September. While it is a classic and a show car we actually drive it quite a but just for the fun of it.
In the fall, as it starts to get colder, and in and winter we do a lot more indoor activities. I have a few hundred ceramic pour molds and a small kiln. I host a lot of sip and paint events for our local community. I also do a lot of charity work in the winter.
I love Country music and my husband and I love to dance. I also love Oldies Rock and some more modern music too. I love going to concerts and music festivals, but living in rural Wyoming does present a challenge as we do not live near any concert venues.
I love fantasy fiction although I don't read as much as I should. As a child I was giving a book Little Fuzzy and to this day it is my first love of Sci-Fi literature. Born in the 70s of course I love all things Star Wars, Star Trek and almost every space adventure series there after.
I'm a very social person and in my marriage it is clear that I am the crazy unpredictable one. My husband keeps me grounded. Our 25 year friendship has been extraordinary. We have made a wonderful life, raised 3 kids of our own, and hosted 2 decades of summer enrichment of al the nieces and nephews. Currently we are looking at doing more traveling, but you can imagine the logistics of a farm and taking a vacation...lol. Luckily with 50 acres we have lots of room for visitors.
