I was directed here because my daughter's grade school class was doing a run away gingerbread man project with the goal of collecting letters and postcards from around the world saying the senders have seen their gingerbread man. The project was so fun to get involved in that I want to continue it with my kids as a family (without the gingerbread man 😊) to start collecting postcards from around the world.

We live near Houston, TX and have 4 gradeschool/preschool aged kids. My husband is an orthodontist and I am a stay at home mom. I am an out-of-practice dental hygienist - I stopped working when we started having kids, and an out-of-practice artist - I can never seem to find the time. I am involved in a homeschool exchange for my preschooler. My family has been active in Taekwondo, Muy Tai, BJJ and gymnastics. We could be considered a little bit of gun enthusiasts, but fairly tame by Texas standards, my husband and I like to go to the range when we can get the kid-free time.

I have always wanted to travel, but have only ever been to Belize.

I love languages and wish I had a better talent for learning them. My kids and I are learning Chinese in the car right now on the way to and from practices with some audio CDs.
