My name is Lisa, I am currently living in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area of Texas, USA. I am married, have three grown children, three grandsons and one more grand arriving in January. I am a ‘retired’ elementary school teacher.
Due to the COVID situation I get to help my youngest daughter by helping with school for my oldest grandson and help get his brother to and from preschool while she is working and I get to spend lots of time with my newest grandson too!
In ‘normal’ times I enjoy singing in my church choir, ringing handbells, reading, cross stitching and scrapbooking. I also joined the MOPS group at my church so my grandson can make new friends and I can enjoy adult conversation twice a month. Lol
I joined Postcrossing about four years ago and I am loving it! It's so fun to get interesting pictures in the mail instead of bills and junk!! I love to get postcards of:
interesting architecture of your country
But I also love cards that include scenery or information about where you live. That way I can teach my grandsons about all different parts of the world. Just include something about you. :) Please add the date so we can see how long the postcards have traveled around the world.
Happy writing! Lisa
Hey, USA Postcrossers--
After October, 2019, please join the campaign to request the U.S. Postal Service to issue a Postcrossing stamp! We tried in 2016, so let's try again!
