My name is Keith. I live in Rochester New York with my husband Scott. I met my husband in 1996 and we got married in 2011 when it became legal in New York state to do so.

Ive been a member of Postcrossing for almost 5-1/2 years.
I have many interests and hobbies.

- I am a powerlifter and have been in eight competitions. Not sure if or when I will do another one but I still train 4-5 days a week.

- Aside from powerlifting, my favorite sport to watch is RUGBY. I follow both the Scotland national team and the Edinburgh rugby club. (A Scottish friend introduced me to the game, so that's why I follow Scottish teams.)

- I love coin collecting, writing pen pal letters and postcards, and spending time in my gardens in the summer.

- I have some science hobbies. I have a microscope and love to explore what's living in a drop of pond water. I also love astronomy and chemistry. I worked as an organic chemist for many years.

- I am an amateur artist (oil painting). Some of my paintings are displayed online at http://bootboy.terbel.net if you are interested in seeing some of my art.

- I love cats, foxes, owls, and elephants. :-) I love postcards with those animals on them. I also really like badgers and hedgehogs.

- I also am a big fan of Star Trek, Doctor Who, and other sci-fi
and it’s a rare treat when in get one of those postcards. If someone sent me a Lexx postcard or something from Firefly, Stargate, or other show postcard I’d go totally nuts! Haha

I do not travel very much, so getting unique and interesting post cards from other people around the world is exciting. I am interested to see anything about other people's cultures, the different scenery, the cities and famous buildings, and the lands they live in.
