Hello ~

I am now a ' 74 years young' mother of 4 grown daughters and grandmother of 3 grandsons and 2 granddaughters :) Happy to be alive and healthy and just celebrated my birthday~

I am retired and live in Jacksonville Florida. This gives me time to enjoy my flower garden with the bird feeders and birdbath to attract the birds of northeast Florida and sometimes the robins who stop in my area for a few weeks each year (they are my favorite bird) The warm temperature and sunshine in Jacksonville make it possible to enjoy the garden most of the year.

I also like to scrapbook~sing~ write~ read~ cook~ shop ~ travel~and garden of course :)

In February, 2014, I adopted a beautiful black and white rescue cat ~ Shmoo~ she is now 8 years young and we both love being 'furever friends' and family :) I have been accused of spoiling her hahaha

I have been enjoying postcrossing for over 7 years now and I can't say enough about the happiness this project has brought to me :)

Sending and receiving beautiful cards; stamps and messages from random strangers from all over the world is a hobby like non other! I have become FaceBook friends with some of my new random strangers/friends. I have learned so many things about so many places in the world and always happy messages! What better way to discover people and places?? I love learning about the places I 've sent and received postcards from... (Thank goodness for Google for photos and information about the places I receive beautiful cards from)

I have still not mastered the art of displaying the cards I have received on my wall but thank you to those who have done this when they send the card~ I love each and every card I have received even when it's not displayed ~ (due to 'technology challenged' skills ) Sorry I have not displayed the cards I have sent either :( maybe before I turn 75 but no promises lol
Whatever card you choose to send me will be truly appreciated I have no preference~you decide and I will enjoy I promise:) Surprises work for me so choose what you think I might enjoy :)
