Hi! My name is Josef and I'm a student from Czech Republic. One year ago I finished grammar school and now I study at the university in Prague. My hobbies are:
- photographing,
- reading,
- history (mainly industrial history),
- architecture,
- GC (maybe you know what this abbreviation mean),
- and sending postcards from holidays for my friends.

My friend Jane told me about Postcrossing half year ago and showed me her received postcards from people on the world. I love postcards and this is a reason why I want to try this. :-)

About my hometown and my country (in a nutshell):
Czech Republic is located in middle Europe (if you don't know). Neighborhood states around my country are Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Poland. The capital city is Prague...and many others interesting informations you can find for example on Wikipedia. :-)
I live in relatively small town Žatec in northwest part of Bohemia. Maybe you heard about hopfields around here. Perhaps hops for your favourite brewery grew up here. In my town are a lot of industrial monuments from nineteenth century and beginning twentieth century. Is the reason (maybe main) why I like history, mainly industrial and technical history.
