Hi,
My name is JoAnn, I live in Elyria, Ohio which is about 40 kilometers west of Cleveland. I moved here after reconnecting with a friend I met in the Army. I spent 13 years active duty army. I was stationed in different places: Fort Lewis, Washington, Ansbach, Germany, Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Honolulu, Hawaii. I was also lucky enough to visit Belgium, Holland, England, Alaska, Korea, Japan and Saudi Arabia, though the latter was not very pleasurable.

My biggest adventure was jumping out of airplanes (C130, C141, C5 and C17 cargo planes) while on jump status in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. I feel very proud to have been a part of such a prestigious unit.

One thing I learned being in the military is that time is very precious. I was away from my family for extended lengths of time and missed so important times in my family's lives. There never seems to be enough of it. So I collect clocks. Clocks of all shapes and sizes.

I am a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and am a lover of OU Football.
