Hi everyone!!!!
I am Jianyue, an international student from China, and now studying in the United States. I am a cat lover and have three cats of my own. One of them was a birthday gift in 2019! His name is DD(弟弟 in Chinese, it means younger brother) and he stayed with me here. And the other two were injured strays I found near my home in China. They currently stay with my parents.

I haven't been back to China for over three years because of the epidemic and I really miss my family. There were so many regulations and restrictions issued by customs and airlines that might separate DD from me. I didn’t want that to happen, so I didn’t go back.

Because of the outbreak, most of the students have taken online courses, and many international students have returned to their home countries. Sadly, many pets have been abandoned or stuck near schools for a variety of reasons. As a pet family, I am very unhappy with this situation. If you happen to know someone who wants a pet, please ask them to check nearby shelters first. As I know, many international students abandoned expensive breeds of cats and dogs, and they usually have a good temper, which is great for first-time pet families. And all breeds of pets are great! I adopted a Syrian Hamster in 2021 because I am not able to carry any more cats on the plane. This is my first time having such a small pet! Surprisingly he is smart and gets along well with my cats! My favorite games are Animal crossing and Stardew Valley :) If you know similar kinds of games please recommend them to me!
