Greetings, My name is Janet Gould and I live for most of the year on a lake in New Hampshire with my husband. We are fortunate to be able to escape the New England weather by spending our winters in Florida where we enjoy the warm sun and tropical breezes. After spenign so many years freezing in the cold Atlantic Ocean (even in July), it is such a pleasure to splash and swim in the much more comfortable turquoise Florida waters.

I retired from teaching after 25 years and now love having time to do the things I most enjoy. Reading, yoga, walking, multi-media collage and spending time with our children and grandchildren are among my favorite things. I also love to travel and have been to Europe numerous times. For my next trip, I hope to go to either Italy, Spain or England.

I have collected post cards for many years from my travels as well as those sent to me by traveling friends. So now I look forward to receiving some from around the world through Postcrossing. I would love to receive picture post cards showing local scenes, handmade cards, vintage or quirky cards but look forward to hearing from you no matter what the card is like.
