Hiya,
My name is Jamelia. I am originally from Kazakhstan. I moved to the US in July 2015 to pursue a PhD in sociology. So now I live in Tucson, Arizona, where I am trying not to die of the heat and enjoying abundance of Mexican food :)

I love travelling, but I am financially constrained to do so. Therefore, I am trying to travel vicariously through these postcards that I send and receive. I used this website when I was living in Kazakhstan, but didn't get many postcards because of the great Kazakhstani post service :) Now that I'm in the US, I'm sure I will get each and every one of postcards that I am sent!

I love literature (esp. poetry). Brodsky and Bukowski are some of my favorite poets. As for music, I started to listen to all kinds of stuff lately, but my favorite band is Placebo.

I'd love to receive postcards with landscapes of your hometowns. Also, it'd be great if you could write a couple of sentences in your native language and what the weather was like when you sent the postcard :) I am eager to learn things about your country, so feel free to write whatever you want to write!
