I live in Evanston which is just outside of Chicago and right on Lake Michigan. I was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and I've also lived in Toronto. But I've been here in the Chicago area since 1980. So far I have lived on 3 of the Great Lakes.

I love reading, being outside, and socializing with friends. I like to keep abreast of current events.

So glad to be postcrossing. I find it to be a sweet shot of positivity as people reach out from all over the world to make a heartfelt connection, however brief.

Whatever message you send, I'll be glad to receive it. Possible ideas if you need them: I would love to know what you have been thinking about the day you wrote my card: what has been on your mind, however simple and mundane, or complicated, sad, or joyful. Quotations you like. Something you would tell your teenage or younger self today.
