I am married to an angel called Daniel and we have two children (a daughter, Este and a son, Carl). I live in Strand, which is a smallish coastal town some 40 minutes' drive from Cape Town. I work as an editor of school textbooks, specifically in the fields of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences and Mathematics. My passion is music and cooking. I play the piano, church organ and recently took up the cello. I enjoy reading, movies, singing, entertaining my friends, watching the crime channel on TV, swimming in the sea, art, handcrafts, decorating our home and playing with our pets (a very lively little Jack Russell called Uno, because he is entirely white, with one brown ear; and a black and white cat called Cleopatra, because she is the Princess from Africa).
