About Catherine...

Hello!
My name is Catherine, I'm 17 y.o. and I live in Czech Republic. I like the idea of people sending postcards to each other, because nowadays lot of people communicate only on internet and email just won't replace the happiness, when you found a new postcard in the mailbox.

You can write me in english, russian or french. I know only some basic korean phrases.

I will love every postcard sent to me, but here is what will please me the most:
- L. Afremov postcards
- city view postcard, famous building etc.
- vintage or retro postcards (but please, I don't mean fluffy kittens in Dolores Umbridge style :D)
- artistic or handmade posctards
- old postcards (like from 1980, earlier or so - but I know it's a hard task to do, but maybe you have something at home and you don't even know about it... I would love a postcard like that)
- postcards from books or movies (Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, The Book thief...)
- Audrey Hepburn

Please, write something about your country, about your national food or holidays or just something interesting, thanks! :) I would love to read something about traditions in your country or just write me something about yourself. And don't hesitate to write a lot, I will read it, even letters. :) Please, feel free to add a letter or draw something characteristic of country. :)

I love music, history, reading (Harry Potter and also clasics). :) You can send me anything connected with books, for example famous author from your country. :) You can also write me some phrases in your language and translate, that would please me.

And if you lose your inspiration (it happens, I know), here is what you can write me about:
- something about your city/life/country
- one thing that made you happy today
- what is your favourite book/movie/city/food
- where do you work or study or what you want to become
- something about your national or favourite food

Thank you and I'm looking forward to your posctards!

I am also looking for a penpal, with whom can I swap not only postcard, but also sweets like chocolate etc.! ^^
