Hello! My name is Imogen Berumen. I'm from Los Angeles, California and live with my family, four dogs and a hairless cat (his name is Baz!). I love to travel and love, even more so, to learn about other people and their experiences with the ups and downs of life.

I've recently been diagnosed with BPD, or Borderline Personality Disorder. It sounds much scarier than it is, but I am having a hard time coming to terms with it along with my anxiety, depression and PTSD. Recovery is hard and takes years, but this is a first step in reaching out to others to learn if you, too, struggle with mental health.

I get through most days with music, art, books and writing. If you have suggestions for any of those, I'd be happy to take a listen. The beach is also something that tends to calm my mind, oddly enough.
