About Jennifer...

My name is Jennifer, and I'm a graduate student. I studied abroad in France (feel free to write in French), and I took the opportunity to travel while I was there (on a very tight budget!). I miss traveling and meeting people from different countries, so I jumped at the idea of Postcrossing.

FYI, I love letter-writing, so if you're interested in getting a letter back, include your address.

I'll enjoy whatever you send, but here are some suggestions:

-I *love* homemade cards(foodpackaging, homemade recipe cards, drawings, collages, newspaper articles, etc)
-FOOOOOD, drink (coffee, tea, beer, wine), and recipes
-*Le Petit Prince* I'm trying to start a collection :)
-Books or libraries
-Fountain pens, ink, writing
-Sheet music, instruments
-Cartoons/comics/manga/anime (Moomins, superheroes, Pixar, Asterix, Japanese or Korean action-adventure series, etc)
-Anything "geeky" would be delightful (sci-fi, fantasy, steampunk, Doctor Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, boardgames, video games, dinosaurs, space, science)
-Knitting, crochet and yarn
-Tea, teapots, tea cups, tea parties
-Black & white (esp photography)
-UNESCO sites
-Windows & doors
-Nouvelles Images
-Dogs (photos or illustrated)
-Quirky/funny
-Activism
-Human rights (LGBT, women's, black, minority, etc)
-Maps (old, historical, city, state, country and public transit)
-Single views of your city/region/country, especially beautiful ruins and street scenes
-Ad cards, as long as you write a message
-Anything from "favorites" or similar

*Special Requests* - I wish I had tourist postcards from the places I lived and traveled when studying abroad. I'd really appreciate receiving cards of the following:
FRANCE
Provence, Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Carcasonne, St. Victoire, ochre, perfume, lavender, les calanques, Loire Valley, Paris and Lyon
ITALY
Venice, Rome, Florence and gelato :)
CZECH REPUBLIC
Charles Bridge, Jewish Quarter, Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral
Barcelona, SPAIN

I participate in several RRs, so if you want to check for duplicates, I've started uploading my collection at http://www.flickr.com/photos/jen-squared/collections/

Since I read a ton, I'd love any *bookmarks*, maybe one you got for free somewhere (as long as it doesn't cost more).

Whatever you send, please write the date and a little bit about yourself, daily life, country, what's one the postcard, etc. I love reading postcards as much, if not more, than seeing what's on them! If you're not sure what to write, some suggestions are...

**A memory**
-Something you could buy for the cost of postage
-One of your favorite books, movies or bands and something you like about it
-Type of food or drink that I have to try if I go there :)

Don't worry if you don't send anything listed above. As postcrossers know, sometimes the surprise card is the best card
