Hello!

Postcrossing has been a fun and enriching experience for me, and a much needed social outlet during this pandemic. The postcards I have received are fascinating, and I love having these little connections with people from all over the world. I am amazed at how much so many of us seem to have in common! We live in a fascinating world during interesting times!

A little bit about me: I grew up in Southern California. In 2005, I met the love of my life, David, and moved to Rhode Island to be with him. After 10 very happy years there, we married and moved here to Newburgh, NY in 2015.

We have 1 cat named Brini. She was my mother-in-law's cat, and we inherited her with our house. It has taken time for her to warm to us, but we're a rather happy family now.

I am a social worker. Since 2018, I have worked at a county jail not too far from where I live. I never thought I’d be working in corrections, but it turns out to be a good fit for me. In the past I have worked as a campaign manager and union organizer, so this is quite different from my past experiences.

I love to travel. I have traveled throughout most of the USA. My favorite states are Rhode Island, California, Montana, South Dakota, Alaska, and Louisiana. The only states I haven’t been to are North Dakota, Michigan, Hawaii, and Kentucky. Hopefully I can remedy that soon!
