About Jayson...

I'm slowly writing a novella about my spouse being sent to fight the war in Iraq, my vegetarianism and insomnia, and my dog's death- all written in a dark humor, positive light, point-of-view.

My current job is all about crunching numbers and spitting them out. I also help resolve complex math problems and create simple formulations...only with a college degree in Literature.

I have a sense of humor, somewhere. I think I'm funny.

I heart shoes. Unfortunately, I can not walk in any heels. I've fallen too many times and sprained my ankles and wrists. Luckily, I have not broken any bones- just bruised the tookas.

I have to eat french fries in order of size and shape. The small pointy ones first, and the long skinny ones last. I also have to place them in a pyramid shape. By the time I finish my fries, my burger is cold. The spouse always hides most of my fries (when he forgets to order the child's size) to be nice. I think he hates eating my cold burgers.

I love to cook in my free time and try and cook something different at least once a week. I make a fantastic rosemary bbq pork ribs, but I can't bake a homemade pie crust (and I've tried at least 20 different recipes). I stick with the freezer piecrust out of the grocer's freezer. My goal to bake a homemade edible piecrust.

Likes: Elderly Teenager (my new creative project), the Mighty Boosh, Old and Middle English literature, Douglas Coupland, sharing, people that still read books, coffee (Green Mountain is a current brand favorite), Vermont beer, 80's-new wave-industrial-postmodern-alternative-punk rock music, mashups(DJ Schmolli is AWESOME!), individualism and creativity, Lomography (I heart my Holgas), chapstick and lip gloss, tattoos, daisies, and Texas Longhorns football(family legacy).

Questions and Fears: Self absorbed close-minded individuals, smelling stinky, micromanagement, spiders, roses, greed, bodies of water deeper than my waist, MTV (where are the music videos?), and sheep (not the animal).

One day I will grow up and learn to be bitter and angry at the world. Right now I'm enjoying the curve balls and dropped phone calls of life.

I am not picky on what I want you to send on a postcard, or what kind of postcard to send. You can write the first word that pops in your head, or appears in your mind's eye. Heck, the last word the strange person that's sitting across from you right now just said. You can cut out a postcard from the box of cereal you just finished. You can even draw a stick figure on the back of an envelope. Seriously! Write what you want, or leave it blank. Go against societal norms and send a cardboard circle. It's all up to you and how crazy mad you can be :)
