We are from Matheny Day Program in Hillsborough, NJ, USA in Somerset County. We are a special program for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. Some activities that we participate in are art, cooking, games, charity work, special days, seasonal newsletters, adapted physical education and special events: dances, casino night, Happy Birthdays. We have a program at the main campus called Arts Access. Our main campus is located in Peapack, NJ and when we are not virtual, we go there for painting, dance and writing workshops. We also host Miles for Matheny, a fundraising Event each year. We walk, wheel, bike or run for miles to raise money for special programs. We mostly live in Matheny group homes, but some of us come from the community. We are a non- profit organization. We just celebrated Matheny's 75th year as a school. Matheny was started by a family who had a son with Cerebral Pasley and he was Matheny's first student with two other girls. The school has grown to a hospital, school, residential and day program with group homes as well.

Most of us writing in this program live in the group homes and get Arts access at the main campus.

We want to meet people all over the world and see if there are other programs out there like ours. We want to connect with everybody and learn about the world.
