About Claudia...

*Please date your postcards*

Hello lovely people! :)
I love postcards and I'm really glad someone decided to create a website like this.
I am Italian but I've been living in the UK, Spain and France, both working and studying, and I'll soon go back to England (about 2 weeks time); I can't wait to find out where life will take me.
I've studied drama and English Literature, but I'm also a professional pastry chef and I teach pottery to children - I suppose all these are creative fields, and that's why I ended up being so many things at once.
I'm planning to go backpacking around the world at some point in the future, so any suggestion on what to visit in your country is very welcome!
I love books, walking, museums, rainy weather, baking, crafting, spooky/paranormal stuff random independent films and nice food, including continental chocolate. Incredibly, I do not like coffee (being Italian people expect me to drink a lot of coffee), but I love tea.

If you really want to make me happy, send me a card with
-books/books covers
-funny stuff
-cartoon style pictures
-rain/water
-autumn/winter scenes
-typical food
-cats//mice/hamsters/foxes/owls
-Impressionist/Expressionist paintings
-fairy tales
-strawberries
-American Horror Story/Big Bang Theory/Sherlock/Horrible Histories
on them.
Random cards that you've found in charity shops are also appreciated. And black&white cards too. And, of course, vintage/vintage style cards. Yes, it's very easy to make me happy :D
I'm not a big fan of tourist cards (I especially dislike multi views cards) but I know from experience that sometimes it's hard to find non touristy cards. In that case, I'd really appreciate if you could send me a single night view or a card depicting something that you only have in your country.
All cards are more than welcome, even if the card is not one that is on the list..I'll love them all!!

Anyway.. I love reading about people living far away from me. You can write anything on your card, small quotidian things are very much appreciated.
You can also write the title of your favourite book, a quotation, a poem..but please do write something!! It's a bit disappointing when you get a card and there's nothing written on it.
As I'm learning Swedish, and refreshing my Spanish and French, if you speak any of these languages, please do use them - practice makes perfect, and I need a lot of practice :D

*Christmas cards are welcome in November/December (or any other time of the year..I love Christmas!), as are birthday cards in May - or Very Merry Unbirthday ones whenever you feel like sending one!!*
