About Ciccone's...

Hello everyone, we are so excited to have stumbled upon this amazing website and now be participating in Postcrossing!

We are The Ciccones - Henry (dad), Alysia (coolest 'almost' step-mom in the world), Ava (9 yrs old), Sonny (6 yrs old), little Elle Bell (2 1/2 yrs old) and Harrison (crazy kitty).

We live in Albany NY, which is the capital of New York State in the USA. We love to spend time together reading, cooking, baking, playing in Washington Park, listening to music or going to the NYS Museum.

To tell you a little more about all of us, Henry is an amazing chef and an even more amazing Dad and Best Friend - Alysia (me) is a bartender, organizer, best friend and bed-time enforcer - Ava is a smart, beautiful and witty little chick who loves music, birds and playing the Cello - Sonny is a warm, loving and truly genuine little boy who loves to cook with his Daddy and even dabbles in hair styling, when one of us is willing - Elle is a fiery yet sweet little bundle of absolute cuteness, her favorite things are her Snuggie and Binkie, Hello Kitty, Thomas the Tank Engine and of course her best friend Harrison (the cat). Oh yes, then there is Harrison, the face of The Ciccones... it is Harrisons world, we are just living in it. A very unique cat who provides lots of entertainment on a daily basis. She enjoys long naps, fighting with her pink monkey, chasing laser pens and salmon flavored cat treats.

We would love any and all types of postcards... the most important thing for us is to get a little insight on you and where you are from. We are using Postcrossing as an opportunity to teach the kids about geography, the different types of people in the world including their customs, and the importance of personal connections. Its so easy to go online and send an email or use facebook to contact people all over the world. Writing and receiving a "hand written" message, sadly, is a lost art.

Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you :)
