Hello! I live in Nevada, in the USA. We have three dogs, two terriers and a pit bull, so cute dog postcards are A+. We live in the northern Nevada high desert and love it!

I just had a little baby girl in March 2020, we call her Dot :) She has autism and loves looking at my postcard books. I'd love any recommendations on children's books, stories, or shows about your country, culture, or history - I want her to be curious about the world!

I'd love any cards, of any variety. My husband is a lawyer and history nerd, so he'd probably be excited by any historic buildings (especially courthouses, judicial buildings, etc), cards about boxing or American football, or anything relevant to jazz or R&B music and history. I love animals, especially more unlovable ones (spiders and bugs, reptiles, etc) but cute and fluffy is fabulous too! I love cross stitch, embroidery, needlework, and quilting, so any cards in that vein would be WONDERFUL!!

Some other things I would love to receive are:

-Mythical monsters (cryptozoology - yeti, Jersey Devil, chupacabra, etc)
-Theme parks - especially roller coasters!
-The ocean! Beaches, wildlife, anything - we love the Caribbean and can't wait to take our little girl there!
-Shaped cards - anything that's not rectangular, or miniature/extra-large cards
-Old silent movies, especially Buster Keaton
-Tarot cards and other white witchy goodness, vintage or cute Halloween
-Anything to do with running, or races (race routes, finish lines, triathlons, running/nature trails, marathons, ad cards for races in your area, etc)
-Books & literature, particularly older classics or science fiction (and sci fi movies)
-Dolls & clowns, of the cute or creepy variety - I like both!
-Cute vintage cards, Gotochi cards, Tausendschön cards, anything mind-numbingly PRECIOUS and ADORABLE
-Disney, especially Goofy, Donald Duck, Dumbo, or Tinkerbell - or Disney parks other than the ones in the US! Dottie's current faves are Moana, Frozen, Wreck-It Ralph, The Little Mermaid, Inside Out, Coco
-Pokemon (especially Eevee, Magikarp, Snorlax), old Nintendo or Final Fantasy games
-Haunted places
-Famous women named Dorothy, to tell my daughter about! :)
-Send me that weird/ugly/boring card you've had for ages because you don't know who to send it to :P

I am open to any type of card, including ad cards or handmade cards. I don't mind cards in envelopes or without, I have no preference. Anything you send is fine with me! I collect ad cards to send also, but only send to people who specifically say they like them since many don't. I also would love fun or beautiful bookmarks, I always am reading many books at once.

During this quarantine and with a new baby, I would really love some pen pals to write letters to; if you are looking for a pen pal in English then please feel free to ask me! (From anywhere, US included!)
