Hanalee

Hello! My name is Hanalee (like from Puff the Magic Dragon) and I am from an old citrus grove town just west of Los Angeles, CA and attend college in Salem, OR at Willamette University (the oldest University west of the Mississippi!) I am a 20 year old junior who is majoring in anthropology so people and culture are really important to me and I see this as a way to further that interest as well as make me a more tolerant and worldly individual.

In my free time I enjoy knitting, both reading and writing books, getting educated and involved with sustaining Native American cultures, being as active as possible in the gay rights movement here in the States, and doing anything that involves cats. I've not gotten out of the States much except across both boarders to Mexico and Canada for lunch but next academic year (September 2012-June 2013) I will be spending in London and New Zealand!

I would love to hear about your home life, culture, history, language, religion, rituals, traditions, etc as I feel as an American I have been raised with a very selfish/self centered education and really want to change that.
