My name is Demi, and I live near Chicago, Illinois, USA. I own quite a few animals: 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 bearded dragon, 6 snakes and a greenbottle blue tarantula, creatively named "Blue". Our newest family member is a gray striped kitty with blue eyes. His name is Frankie. He's a troublemaker. His favorite place to play is the bath tub.

I've previously worked in a brewery and also in the research department of an arboretum. I helped with plant disease and insect research. I really enjoy plants and insects. I especially love spiders and dragonflies.

I've been working as a brewer's yeast propagation technician in the city of Chicago for about a year now. I really love my job. I especially love getting to interact with local craft brewers and learn about new yeast strains. The craft beer industry is full of wonderful people.

I love surprises in my mailbox! (I know I have so many neat postcards I would love to send to others if only it was on their list of favorites. I assume others feel the same way, so please send your favorites my way!)

I would love for you to send me a postcard you enjoy and maybe even tell me why you chose it. Also, please feel free to tell me a little bit about yourself, how your day was, what you're thinking, list out some fun facts about yourself... add some doodles or stickers... whatever you please! I think the best kind of postcard tells a story about the person sending it.

I also enjoy birthday cards in November if you so choose. :)

I only request that you put a date on your postcard. I keep my postcards in a photo album and enjoy seeing when I received them.
