Hi,

We're the teens of the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library! HWPL is a large library located on Long Island in New York. At our library, we do a ton of community service projects- Postcrossing is our newest project. We're hoping to get postcards from all over the world to decorate our Children's and Teen spaces with!

We want to use Postcrossing as an opportunity to learn- so if you could, tell us something interesting about where you live or maybe teach us a word in a language you speak. Do you have any favorite books? What about books you loved as a kid or teen?

And of course, we'd love to know: do you have a library you love to visit?

Postcards in English are preferred, but members of our staff and community speak all kinds of languages with Hebrew, Russian and Spanish being especially popular.
