About Gulla...

Hello,

Postcrossing is wonderful! I love it! I cherish ALL postcards. Please know that whatever card you pick, I will keep and treasure it forever.

The following is just a list of some ideas if you would like some inspiration on what to send. But what I really, really like -- even more than the image on the front -- are the things the senders write on the cards. To me, it is fascinating to find out all sorts of new things. Please take the time to tell me about you, your city, country, or anything else that just comes to mind. I'm good at deciphering handwriting so please don't print the text with a printer! :)

I enjoy cards that are beautiful to look at:
- Nature/Scenery
- Animals (I love horses, guinea pigs, and birds especially),
- Interesting photography in general
- Donald Duck
- And colorful pictures make me very happy!

The above are just suggestions. ALL cards are welcome and appreciated. But, if possible, please no envelopes and no Touchnote cards.

I would really like to know more about your country and about you. Please take the time to tell me about yourself! :)

A bit about myself: I'm a web developer for a tiny but growing company, and I adore the company, my job, and coworkers! I am very fortunate. I live in a tiny town about an hour west of Washington, DC. It's a great location: close enough to be near the city for a visit but far enough to be away from noise and out among farms and rolling hills!

I volunteer with my town's rescue squad. I'm an Emergency Medical Technician.

In my scarce remaining spare time I like to hang out at a local horse farm, watch the songbirds at our feeder, and send postcards. I also love looking through all my received postcards and re-reading everything and admiring all the stunning images and stamps. And I'm trying to teach myself Spanish! It's challenging but fun. If you have ever taught yourself another language, I'd love to hear how you did it and what worked best for you!

I believe in random acts of kindness.

Surprise me!

Thanks!
Gulla
