I live in a small seaside village on Long Island Sound in southeastern Connecticut.
I am retired from a career in Public Administration. I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have 3 grown children and 8 grandchildren! I have 2 adopted racing greyhounds, Abbey and Chuck, who I absolutely adore! I am a huge animal lover, especially partial to greyhounds and support all efforts to end the cruel sport of greyhound racing.
I love the ocean, lighthouses and living by the sea. I spend a lot of my time at the beach with my dogs and enjoy collecting shells and sea glass. Other interests are swimming, walking, biking, nature, reading, knitting, crocheting and crosstitch, watercolor painting, photography and vacations to Cape Cod! I also collect magnets from the many places I visit.
I look forward to receiving postcards in the mail, it's great to open my mailbox and find a postcard from an interesting place in the world. I enjoy postcards that show me the area where you live...landscapes, historical buildings, cities, lighthouse, or very unique places. I would enjoy watercolor cards of these areas. I also enjoy postcards of animals (your favorite or animals native to your area). I will also be happy with a postcard of your choice, but not interested in retro, comics or historical figures.
