The Story behind my "self made cards".(Rudolf, the father)
These self made cards are made from an old German Encyclopedia from 1959,
DBG Diccionary, Art books , etc.
When I was a small child, my mother was sewing for others to help my father with some extra money, I was sitting next to her, passing the pages and asking all the time, what is that? And that? And she patiently was always explaining to me what I was asking over and over. So, I became that avid reader I am today, and my mother, that simple woman, with a huge knowledge .
She died in 2009, and I kept her beloved library, then, among so many books, I found the old books I handled so many times, used, destroyed by the time, by tropical weather, bugs ,humidity, and so many moves from one place to other, so, I decided to save the pictures from those books, and send them in their last mission, as postcards.
Rudolf Németh Georgii.
