About Xylia...
My name is Xylia which is a Greek name and I think it means ‘ from the wood. I live in a town which has a stately home with the longest frontage in Europe and follys like Keppels column and Hoober Stand. The town has a rare chapel on a bridge.
I like writing to my penpals, sending them happy mail. I love reading, paper crafts, art and crochet. I teach paper crafts to a small group of people in my local library, I attend two coffee mornings one is run by the NHS to support wellbeing and mental health. I like to learn about recycling and the environment. I like history and I am a carer for my Mum who has Alzheimers, I am very keen to keep her as independent as possible, her wellbeing is very important to me.
