I love photography, beach combing, sea glass hunting and anything related to nature. I am retired from the travel business, having owned my own travel agency for 12 & 1/2 years. I have friends all over the world that I have connected with due to my love for sea glass, and now postcards as well. I am married to an airline pilot. I have one daughter and one grandchild and he has three children and 2 grandchildren. We live in Norfolk, VA on Willoughby Spit which is a neighborhood formed by a hurricane (in 1806) on a spit of land. This is on the Chesapeake Bay. I love art, science fiction and enjoy hearing about other people's lives. I'm not much of a history buff - I guess I'm happier in the present and curious about what is coming in the future. At this point, I don't have any pets, but did have cats (Ragdolls) previously. Not sure I can do it again because I hate the loss when they grow old or sick and then are gone. I have a great sense of humor and love a good laugh. Fitness has always been important to me and I try to walk every day no matter what the weather. I would love any types of postcards and would especially love to receive some hand made postcards! But I would be incredibly pleased to receive any postcard with an octopus! They are my favorite animal. Anything related to the sea fascinates me.

But....I love weird! So unusual, strange, bizarre cards are welcome. I also love insects (especially beautiful spiders). Just no violence please. Other than that, EVERY card is welcome. I even love AD cards and LOVE homemade cards! 😃
