Hi! I've been a middle school literacy teacher in New York City for almost 15 years and I love teaching kids to love reading and writing. I'm an avid reader myself, and I also enjoy hiking, cooking/baking, listening to many types of music, and trying out different arts & crafts. I often visit museums, go to plays and comedy shows when I can, and enjoy just general people watching in this busy city.

I'd love to learn more about you through your message! Maybe you want to share the best piece of advice you've ever received, or maybe something that made you smile recently. You could tell me your favorite song and why it's your favorite--I love getting new music recommendations! Maybe you've read a book that's changed the way you think about something--I'd love to hear about it. Or maybe you can tell me your favorite way to spend a day off. Of course, you can share whatever you wish! These are just some ideas.

As for postcards, I love:

--aurora borealis (a dream of mine is to see them in person one day)
--the night sky, especially views of the moon
--fields of lavender
--mosaic patterns
--elephants
--hedgehogs (including Hedgehog in the Fog)
--mountain goats & Dall sheep
--foxes
--red pandas
--giraffes
--Kotovasiya (I love these little guys!)
--trees & forests
--matryoshka
--books or libraries
--all sorts of landscape and city views, especially those that show something about where you're from. I do prefer single views, but no worries if that's not possible
--my favorites are now filled with cards I'd love to receive, so you could take a look if you have the chance

I also prefer my postcards written and stamped, please, and I'd appreciate it if you include the date.
