My name is Gina. I have a partner Colin. Between the two of us we have 6 children. Colin has 2 daughters, Holly (26) and Kristy (22). I have 4 children, Shahni (19), Noah (16), India (14) and Zeb (13). We have a golden retriever Aslan and a cat Lavender.

I live in Gisborne, New Zealand. A small city on the east coast of the north island. We are surrounded by beautiful beaches and picturesque scenery. We are also the first city in the world to see the sun every day. I believe we are unique.

I work full time as a primary school teacher and I am very busy with children activities. I do like to get away on holiday. Colin has a motorbike so we travel around on the bike. We both like to go to concerts, we both like fine dining and fine wine. I enjoy photography and scrapbooking so I am always trying to capture moments with the camera. I am also a sociable person so enjoy writing postcards/letters and making contacts around the world.

I used to be a part of postcrossings about 7 years ago but life got very busy and I was moving around a lot and eventually I forgot to pick up the pen and write. Exciting stuff ... I'm back!

I am really looking forward to extending my postcard collection. I have collected ladybirds since I was 8 years old. I also collect teapots. I love the colour purple and I love the artist Salvador Dali. I love Volkswagen Kombis and vampires. So postcards with any of these things on would be great. But honestly, any postcard will be a pleasure to receive.
