I was born in 1983 and live near Detroit, Michigan where I work as a world history teacher. At university I studied literature, history, archeology, and Russian.

I like to try new things and have had many hobbies over the years including travel, painting, playing polo, and fencing. Right now my biggest hobby is cooking and baking. What I like most is making French pastries and cooking soups.

Reading the messages is half the fun of getting postcards! I would enjoy hearing about anything you would like to share including fun facts about yourself, historical facts about your city, your favorite book, or a favorite recipe.

I love most kinds of postcards, but I would be particularly excited to get the following types of cards:

-Ivy leaves (my daughter's name is Ivy)
