Hi there! My name is Anna, I am writing this on behalf of my dad, Gil. We live a little ways away from each other, so I'm always looking for ways to brighten his day and make him feel loved.

My dad lives alone in Jacksonville, FL, and although he keeps himself busy, he can understandably get a little lonely sometimes. When I discovered postcrossing, I knew it would be the perfect way to bring a little bit of joy into his life, even if it's just in the form of a postcard.

He used to own his own contracting business, where he specialized in remodeling kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. He poured his heart and soul into his work and loved every minute of it. He's a man of many passions, including sports cars, Led Zeppelin, Greatful Dead and cheering on his favorite baseball team (go Phillies!) and football team (go Eagles!). He's originally from Philadelphia, and he loves everything about his hometown.

In addition to his love of all things Philly, my dad is a big fan of dogs (he has a little terrier named Zoey), cities, cooking(diabetic friendly recipes would be amazing! He also loves all things fish, crock pot meals, soups, etc.), and anything that will make him laugh (he has a great sense of humor).
