Hello fellow global citizens!

My name is Christine and I am 39 years old (the big 4-0 is on November 22nd, birthday greetings are very welcome!) and located in Los Angeles, California. I work in science in the field of molecular biology and genetics. I first joined Postcrossings when I had an unfortunate broken ankle. Happy to report the ankle is fully healed now.

I love nature, hot springs, cats, space exploration, beautiful art (the old masters), unicorns, fairies, Harry Potter, LOTR, vintage things and interesting architecture. I have a lovely ragdoll kitty named after the discoverer of the DNA double helix, James Watson. (Side note: the profile photo is of his deceased brother, Francis Crick who we both loved very dearly.)
