Hello all!

My name is Danyelle, I had another Postcrossing account a few years ago that I closed when life got a little to hectic to keep up with it properly. I've missed Postcrossing and decided to give it another go.

I'm single at the moment, a registered nurse on a standard medical-surgical floor by day. I've recently turned 30 and it feels odd to leave my twenties behind but I'm grateful to see it and excited by what life will bring next.

I enjoy reading (mainly mysteries and historical fiction), general crafts with a never ending struggle to master crocheting (I start and stop in frustration quite a bit). I *love* music and collect vinyl records, a little over 350 at last count, mainly jazz, blues, soul, r&b, funk, and a little bit of folk and pop rock. I enjoy classic Hollywood films as well, lately I've been into 1930s pre-codes but it started with my first love 1950s MGM musicals. I don't watch as much TV, mainly reruns on Hulu to be honest but I like comedies with sarcastic leads and PBS Masterpiece.
