I like old things (antiques, vintage furniture and fixtures, old books and jewelry, etc). I dream of an extended stay in Alaska someday. I have a Golden Retriever named Gibson. I like pumpkins. I have one tattoo. I live amid the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains in a lively little city called Asheville. I am originally from the state of Oregon. I enjoy art, writing, reading books, and traveling. I love sweaters. I am particularly fond of children's books. I have difficulty keeping plants alive. I have a thing for big, geeky glasses. I LOVE sunshine. I like learning of new, encouraging and inspiring quotes. I want to brush up on my (beginners) French. Post cards written in French are most welcome! Fall is my favorite season. I enjoy all sorts of documentaries and independent films. I welcome recommendations for films and works of fiction. I like to collect natural artifacts such as drift wood, acorns, moss, pine cones, rocks, shells, nests, feathers, and bee hives!
