My name is Vladka, I am 46, live in The Czech Republic, I am married and have two children - a boy (20) and a girl (17).

We live in a little village, we breed sheep, rabbits, and hens and we have one Bernese Mountain Dog - five-year-old male Bertik, two cats Lilly and Meesha. And my daughter has a goat, she calls her Zelda and she is like our second dog :)

Most of all I like reading - fantasy, detective stories, sci-fi, history novels, interesting people´s true stories...almost everything :) For several years I have been reading only in English, it´s a great way how to improve my vocabulary.

My favorite authors are Paolo Coelho, Xinran, J.K. Rowling, Tolkien, Christopher Paolini, and other authors like Jeffery Deaver, Robert Bryndza, Daniel Cole, Lars Kepler...My favorite book is The Help by K. Stockett, must read for everyone :) The Brave New World by A.Huxley is also fascinating reading. Recently I discovered Discworld by Terry Pratchett and the Game of Thrones series so postcards related to these books will be precious to me.
Recently I read a book by Lawrence Anthony The Elephant Whisperer and its sequel An Elephant in My Kitchen and I like them so much! So many books, so little time!

I also like music, studying English, baking, cycling, I love dogs, collecting small statues of elephants (about 100 now), growing cactuses, Postcrossing :-))
Sometimes I also do coloring (of course of postcards :)), it´s really very calming and relaxing.
And yoga is even better for it :) My new passion now.

I like all kind of cards, surprise me :-) But most of all I like:

- book covers, old books, bookshelves...
- landscape, mountains, rocks
- sea, ocean, lake, ships
- animals (which are characteristic of your country)
- castles, ancient, old or interesting buildings
- lighthouses
- mills
- funny cards, especially with a story on it (comics)
- food or recipe from your country - I will try it :)
- trains - especially steam locomotives or some interesting train (my father was a locoman and my brother is now :-))
- Harry Potter or LOTR cards :-)
- Star Trek, Star Wars, Star Gate
- Discworld
- Game of Thrones
- witches and wizards
- elephants, owls, suricates, dragons, butterflies
- coloring postcards (I will color them and upload the result)
- yoga related postcards
- Christmas cards on December

I prefer single views :)
