I am a retired school teacher who was introduced to Postcrossings by my daughter-in-law. I so enjoy receiving cards showing where "you" live.
I live in a place that has lots of warm weather (not hot) and is lovely. I am in the hills in a wooded area not far from several smaller cities where I can shop and enjoy entertainment. I love the theatre, museums, and walking around the area where I live. San Francisco is my closest large city. It is about 40 minutes from my home via car.
I attend a hydrofit (water exercise) 5 days a week and each morning I walk my little dog, Daisy, around our area before the class. Daisy is a little over a year old and the love of my life. I have one son who is married and lives about 3-4 hours away from me. He is married but has no children.
