About Timo...
Hey there All Postcrossers !!!!!!!
I'm an open minded fun loving guy who enjoys life and living...... But then hey, who doesn't? :-)
I am currently living in the Johannesburg area which is the biggest city in South Africa.
The place that I admire the most is the Namib Desert with it's stunning views and vast landscapes. I have only been there once but it was one of the most awe inspiring experiences that I have ever been on and would recommend it to anyone. The exhilaration one feels when you climb up your first sand dune and reach the top to see dune upon dune stretching out for miles on end is absolutely indescribable.
I'm very interested in anything to do with art and animals since I studied fine art and used to work with animals.
My other interests are: Cultures, Mythology, Black and white photography and reading.
Since I use some of the images on my received postcards as inspiration or reference in some of my paintings I would prefer if you could send me SINGLE VIEW CARDS ONLY. It would be greatly appreciated. As multi-view cards don’t actually show enough detail or features to work with.
You can view some of my works here:

At the end of the day anything is welcome. I appreciate the time and effort that you take in selecting a card for me. Thank you!
I would prefer if postcards are stamped and not sent in an envelope please.
If you are not sure what to write to me, you can write down your favourite quote that you find inspiring or that touched you in some way.Tell me what makes you happy or sad. What simple gesture you find the most pleasing in life.
Happy Postcrossing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
