Well, I really don't know what to say about this, but I'll try to do.

-I'm not a fan of stamps, though I really like a cute one, so if your postcard is sent in a post office, and they do not put on a stamp, don't worry!! I won't get nuts because of it.
-About the kind of cards I like: anyone, don't look for the coolest one, I'll really like anything I got. Anyway, if you got from nice sights, or cool buildings, I'm fond of both photograph and architecture, so I'll enjoy them specially.
