About John...
Hello every-one. My names is John and I live in Dumfries, Scotland which has been home to my family for over 300 years. It was in Dumfries that the poet Robert Burns wrote the song "Auld Lang Syne" which is sung in English speaking countries as the New Year approaches.
I enjoy meeting new people and cycling - two hobbies that go together very well.
I collect the favourite songs of those I meet by chance on buses, trains and in public spaces. I have found this to be a great way of getting to know people and introducing me to new music.
