I am a district nurse working in Dumfries and Galloway with a family of four. One daughter is in Vienna University studying media, the other son is still with us and is a vegan interested in Tottenham FC and all things Grime and Breaking Bad. My wife is the manager of the local LGBT Youth organisation. We all like art, films,travel and books-less so gaming and celebrity lifestyles. I attend a film club every monday where I often introduce the films , post a picture a day on blipfoto and am a keen moth-er (ie am interested in moths)
I used to be in a post punk avant garde band that gigged extensively around europe until we ran out of money and van parts. After living in many places including New Zealand we are settled here in Dumfries and Galloway where we are very keen house-swoppers.

Favourite film- Blade Runner, A ghost story, Paterson, anything beautiful and elliptic
Favourite book- The Chrysalids, Drop City ,anything fresh and set somewhere I have not been

Recently I have received a few cards with no message or just Happy Postcrossing. This seems not in the spirit of Postcrossing- a few words is polite even in your own language-I can google translate!
Sorry a bit moany there at the end, not fussy really just like a tiny bit of effort.
