I am a writer.

Fantasy fiction and science fiction are my genres. The first book I ever read was "A Wrinkle in Time," by Madeleine L'Engle. I was immediately whisked away on a Tesseract, and I never fully returned to reality.

In my travels through fantasy fiction, I sailed into the Grey Havens and Middle Earth. From there, I raced farther up and farther in, to Narnia, that is. I have encountered the wardrobe back to Earth many times throughout my life, and every time I refused to step through.

My time to grow up will never come because I will not acknowledge it. Be mature, independent, financially secure, yes, I am those things, but I did not reach adulthood by sacrificing my childhood and my imagination. Rather, I was determined to incorporate those values into my daily life. I am glad I figured out how to do that, too, because everywhere around me are thousands of people who gave away their youth, their innocence, their whimsy. They traded off their magic for what they were told was reality, and with that action, the light dimmed in their eyes. Everyday I elude those zombies, those around me who died inside when they became adults; and I never peddled off my logic to do so. Now THAT is a fight I call a Zombie Apocalypse!

But for those of you out there around the world, those of you who kept your magic, whose eyes shine still brightly, we are forever kindred, and I would like to know you more.

Life is an adventure. Enjoy it however it comes, even if it rides a dark horse. I have battled witches and wizards, warred against sorcerers and soothsayers, ridden dragons, read runes, sailed the swells of Outer Space, and died and come back to life countless times. In the land of Imagination, I am immortal.

Which type of postcards do I wish to receive? Besides no commercial, free, or ad cards? That's easy. Find one that reflects your fantasy world. Find one that shows me a glimpse of your Middle Earth, your Narnia, your Terra Mace.

What would I like you to say? That's simple, too.
