Hello there! My name is Chrissy. I'm a 41-year-old mother of two wonderful teenage girls. I was volunteering at a place called OWL, a wildlife urgent care center with capture and release, but I got really sick. On a brighter note I am much better and ready to volunteer again.

Now for the postcards...I thoroughly enjoy sending postcards around the world as a way to reach out and learn about all sorts of new things and wonderful people.

Here is my wish list, but you do not have to stay within it. Any postcard will make me happy. These are merely suggestions.

Postcards that show:

Black and white - general (it can be anything)
Giraffes
Owls
Cherry blossom trees
Buddha or Buddhist postcards
Your country or city map or landmarks (multi-view fine)
Funny cards
Japanese inspired cards of any kind
I love fall scenery when the leaves on the trees change colors
Unusual flowers/gardens
Anything Zen meditation related
I like people in their native clothes
Unusual shaped cards
Anything from the creator Miyazaki (Totoro, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, etc.)
Homemade cards okay but please no ad cards
Gothic churches
Cats doing something silly
Anything Edgar Allen Poe
Anime - but please explain what it's about briefly. I do know quite a few
Maxi Card

Also please don't just write "Happy Postcrossing" and that's it. If you need some ideas of what to write about here you go:

-what is your favorite things to do such as hobbies
-do you have pets tell me about them
-tell me, if you are young, about school
-tell me what the weather is like there
-tell me what the one thing is you want to do in life.

Really anything is fine. I'm just happy to receive a postcard from you. :) Please include a date on your postcard. I look forward to receiving your card!!
